www.twitch.tv

Ever wonder how you can check a game out before buying it yourself??? Well if you answered yes, then you should check out twitch. W hen I heard the name I didn't know what it was either. So I checked it out and found out I had friends who were streaming on the website. There are a lot of streamers on twitch. I gotta say my two favorite streamers are Tekks29 and CherreyBombb. CherreyBombb I went to high school with and Tekks29...well I at first followed him because I really liked his voice. As crazy as that sounds I have yet to find a day where I am not watching this guys stream. He plays a veriety of games. Anywhere from adventure to horror games that get you sitting on the edge of your seat. He makes games fun to watch and enjoy. He also plays with some of his followers. He is a funny and fun guy himself in person too. He gets into his games too so if he doesn't keep  on top of the chat you know he is in what I call "gaming mode". There is also a face that goes with it when streamers are in there gaming mode. I find it fasinating. Although Tekks29 doesn't have a camera up I can still picture the faces he makes. lol. Then again I have known him for a while now.

CherreyBombb on the other hand has a camera and is a doll to watch. I gotta support my girl too. She mostly plays Black OPS III. I follow her to show her my support. She has a cute little accent that she has picked up.

Midoribishi is also a cool guy to watch. I am still new to his channel, but like I said I am mostly on Tekk29's stream. His stream is https://www.twitch.tv/midoribishi

There are a few other streamers I bounce around when Tekks29 isn't streaming, but for the most part I just stay in his channel and mod it. What is a mod? A mod is someone who helps control the room, posts stuff for the streamer, looks stuff up for the streamer, keeps people in line and makes sure rules are obeyed. I enjoy being a mod. Sometimes I even get to pick the games, but not too often. There is a standard mods have to hold and not just anyone becomes a mod. I became a mod for Tekks29, Destro, and phiktion because I am close friends with all of them. Although Phiktion and Destro aren't streaming at this time due to work. It you ever want to check out Tekks29 on twitch his stream is https://www.twitch.tv/tekks29 and CherreyBombb is at https://www.twitch.tv/cherreybombb. They are a blast to watch.

There are lots of games that get streamed. Games from Pc games-ps4 and phone games. So check it out and enjoy...

First day of summer

It is official...today June 20th 2016 is the first day of summer. How did you spend your first day of summer?

I started my day by making a doctor appointment and then cleaned house. After that I spent the day by the pool. Perfect for a day as warm as today, but it should get warmer throughout the week.

I look forward to summers. The sun, the tanning by the sun, the sound of happy children playing all around. I spent some pre summer time in the sun by the pool and got burnt. I still continued to sit out in the sun for a few more days enjoying the sun rays. Well after five or six days straight of soaking up the sun and a field trip to the zoo I ended up getting heart stroke and let me tell you. Heart stroke is no joke. I was so sick, my head pounded, I couldn't keep my balance at all. I craved salt like crazy and come too find out that is what my body needed. I started feeling better and myself again after a week. So a little note: when soaking up the sun make sure you eat something with salt and of course also keep hydrated. Enjoy summer because if you live in Washington you know the sun won't be here forever. Before we know it the rain and cold will be back.

Do you

Do you remember the first time you met your spouse?

Do you remember the first time you laid eyes on them?

What about your first sentence you said to them?

Did you get butterflies?

Do you still get butterflies when you look at them?

I remember all these things. At the time he was in the Air Force and stationed in Montana. My Husband came for a 4 days leave to visit me and my girls when we lived in Hoquiam, Washington. I was nervous. I wasn't scared, but nervous. We hadn't seen each other since we were toddlers and the Navy parted our families. Both our Mom's were best friends in the Navy. They were also each others birthing coaches when they had us. So when my Husband's Mom found my Mom on facebook it turned into a big reunion. I asked his Mom how she knew my Mom. So she told me the story I just told you. My first sentence to him I sent in a friend request on facebook saying "You don't know me, but our Mother's were each others birthing coaches." What a weird thing to say right? Well I thought so too after i sent the friend request. At that time I wasn't looking for anything. I just wanted to get to know him and talk to him. Well he accepted my friend request. We would send each other messages throughout the day. Then we switched to texting. From texting we went to looong phone calls. We would keep each other on the phone for days. Our  phone company could have turned off our cells, but gratefully they didn't. I remember one time we had talked on the phone for 72 hours. There were times that were more and less. It was amazing being able to talk to each other for that long and to sleep (in a non sexual way) with each other while on the phone. There were so many nights we fell asleep while on the phone. I remember how he would keep me on the phone even when he was at work. When he was at work he would keep me on speaker phone. Even when I fell asleep. I would wake up with a long message in my facebook messages and it always put a smile on my face. I would do the same to him as well since when I was waking up he was getting off work to fall asleep. It was so nice. Every night my girls would send him a little video saying goodnight. It was adorable. The first time I laid eyes on him and could remember I felt happy. I would always get butterflies when I would talk to him, but when I saw him when he came for his 4 day leave the butterflies kicked into overdrive. When we had our first kiss I got an overwhelming feeling of safety. Back then I hadn't felt safety in a long time due to my ex, but when my Husband came into my life I felt it again. I felt wanted and needed. I felt things I had never felt before and it felt so great to feel those feelings again. At almost 7 years of my Husband and I being together I still get butterflies. I still feel safe, wanted, needed and loved. I am sure there are many years to come to where I still feel these feeling. At least I can hope. lol. In these almost 7 years we have had some up and downs, but what is most important is that we have worked through everything and continue being by each others side.

Happy Father's Day

I want to say Happy Father's Day!!! Not only to my amazing Father who has raised me since I could remember and been by my side through thick and thin, but also to my Husband who I love dearly. He took in three little girls and has treated them as his own and who also helps me raise his own Son that we have together. It was always said a Daughter will marry a man like her father and I gotta said I did. There are so many similarities I see in the both of them.  I couldn't be more proud having these two men in my life. They have both stepped up to the plate in life. Both are great father's and have raised a child/children that they didn't have to take and accept, but they both have and they both set great examples to all their children. Being the oldest of 5 kids in my family wasn't always fun. I was their guinea pig for learning how to parent and I thought my childhood was hard for sooo long, but I look back now and it wasn't at all. They just wanted what was best for me. I mean I was far from being an easy child and if I could go back in time there are so many things I would do differently, but I also wouldn't have learned the things that I have and wouldn't be where I am today had it not been for my Husband. Thanks to my Husband my Father and I have grown a close relationship and have worked on fixing our bridge. If I was still my past self my Father and I would not be close at all. I am very grateful for both of them staying by my side even when I haven't been my best. I am grateful for both my Father and Husband. So Happy Father's Day to both amazing men. Also Happy Father's Day to my Father in-law who is in Heaven. When he was here on earth and for the time I knew him he was also amazing. We would always talk about football and relationship stuff with each other. He was always there to talk to about anything that was on my mind. I miss him lots.

So if you are a Father and reading this then Happy Father's day to you as well!!! Hope everyone had an amazing Father's Day

Second Chemo treatment...

On Tuesday June 14th my Dad had his second chemo treatment. Well today I saw my Dad and he said the first couple of days after his second treatment were pretty tough. He says each time will be tough because the chemo is killing everything and is making his immune system weaker. He says he feels like the chemo is helping a lot. He isn't in so much pain lately either. He can even lift one of his arms higher and not feel any pain like he had before. My Dad is very positive about everything and says our church is bringing him sacrament since he can't go to church. Which makes me happy that they are doing that for him. I worry about my Daddy and wanted to make sure he was still getting lessons as well.. So I told my Daddy I would send him my notes to read. But instead I am hoping he just follows my blog since I am posting all my notes on here. He told me a while ago I should start a blog. So I started one. I hope when he reads my blogs he will know how much I love and worry about him, but that I also am here supporting him as well.

My Daddy is my hero in so many ways...

19 June 2016

So today is Sunday. It is also fathers day as well. So first off if you are a father and reading this then happy fathers day! I hope you had an amazing day. I went to visit my daddy today. Today was one of his better days. As you guys know he is fighting cancer and has been very tired and weak lately. So I was glad to see him happy and moving around today.
So I have been asked in my church to take notes and post them to the Facebook page. Well today I was asked to expand that to my blog as well. I am not here to push religion on anyone. I a.m. also not here to judge anyone. I am hear to speak my mind, share notes and to be me. So here a go...
Fathers should teach scripture principles
Fathers are examples and teachers
Our Fathers love us
Fathers are mentors
Fathers are companions
Fathers are always there for us
Heavenly Father is our perfect example
Fathers make us happy
Heavenly Father wants us to grow and learn
Fathers want us to learn
Show our fathers love
Heavenly father gives us challenges
Fathers give us great joy
Every challenge has a lesson
Fathers pray for their children
Grow great relationships with your Fathers
Do whatever the Lord asks
Fathers uplift us
Always look for the positive things in life
Heavenly Father watches us
Fathers help us to understand
Fathers aren't always perfect, but they always try and never give up
In Gospel Doctrine we studied lesson 20: My soul is pained no more
Limhi/Alma's people join Mosiah's people
Many members led to sin by unbelievers
Alma Jr and sons of Mosiah visited by Angel
Alma Jr and sons of Mosiah dedicate themselves
When we are pricked we are challenged to remember
When we don't remember we forget
In relief society the lesson was Chapter 12: Come back and feast at the table of the Lord
The parable of the lost sheep teaches us to seek after those who are lost
Be less judgemental and more welcoming to one another and to new comers
Food for thought: How can we help those who are less active become more active???
The Lord expects us to be his under shepherds and recover those who are struggling or lost
Love one another!!!
Without charity we have nothing
Our grand objective it's to help people return to God's present
Our efforts focus on making the saving covenants and ordinances of the gospel available to all mankind: to the nonmember through or missionary work; to the less active through fellowshipping and activation efforts; to active members through participation and service in the church, and tho those who have passed beyond the Veil through the work of redemption for the dead.
Hope you have enjoyed everything you have read. Hope everyone has a great rest off the night.

Hi my name is Souffle Girl.Welcome to my blog. In my blogs I will be talking about a lot of different things. Today will just basically be my welcome page.  So as I said earlier my name is Souffle Girl. Lately a lot has happened in my life and life in general. So I thought I would share and let everyone know my thoughts. I am new to this so please be patient with me.

I have been married to the love of my life for 5 years and have been together for almost 7 years. We are still madly in love and enjoy spending time together. I am a mother to 4 children. My Husband and I both work. I am 29 years old. I am the oldest of 5 kids. My parents are still married to each other and also happily married.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask and they will be answered in the next blog post.

Hodgkins and Non-Hodgkins lymphoma

So a week ago I found out my Father has Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and Hodgkin Lymphoma. Having both is very rare, but he has both and has a 30% chance of making it right now. I have been looking up as much as I can about both cancers. It has already spread all over his body into the important organs and into his bones.

Hodgkin and Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma is a cancer that starts in the throat and can move to all over your inner body. They are malignancies of a family of white blood cells known as lymphocytes, which help the body fight off infections and other diseases. Enlarged lymph nodes are often one of the first signs of both Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The diseases are relatively rare, but non-hodgkin lymphoma is more common in the United States, with more than 70,000 new cases diagnosed each year, compared to the 8,000 for Hodgkin Lymphoma.

The two forms of lymphoma are marked by a painless swelling of the lymph nodes. Hodgkin Lymphomas are more likely to arise in the upper portion of the body. Such as the neck, underarms or the chest. Non-Hodgkin lymphoma can arise in lymph nodes throughout the body, but can also arise in normal organs. Such as the liver, spleen, and lungs.Patients with either type can have symptoms such as weight loss, fevers, and night sweats.

The diseases often follow different courses of progression. Hodgkin lymphoma tends to progress in an orderly fashion, moving from one group of lymph nodes to the next, and is often diagnosed before it reaches an advanced stage. Most patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma are diagnosed at a more advanced stage.

Treatments for lymphoma vary depending on the type of disease, it's aggressiveness, and location, along with the age and general health of the patient.

Hodgkin lymphoma is considered one of the most treatable cancers, with more than 90% of patients survival rates for patients surviving more than 5 years. Survival rates for patients with non-hodgkin lymphoma tend to be a lot lower but for certain types of the disease, the survival rates are similar to those of patients with Hodgkin lymphoma.

I am trying hard to be positive about everything that is going on with my Dad, but after losing my Grandma, Father in-law and my oldest Daughter I can not bare to think about my life without my Father. He is the man who raised me, adopted me and who has always been there for me as I have grown up into the woman I am today. Losing him would break mine and my families heart, but we aren't going to think about death at this point. We gotta stay positive. Yesterday he had his first chemo treatment. He said it went really well, but made him super tired. So he went home and went to bed. He will have another treatment in a week. I will keep you all updated as much as I can.

Heat Stroke

After spending the last 6 days in the sun by the pool and today at the zoo I ended up getting heat stroke. I tell you what...heat stroke is no fun. When at the zoo today in 90+ degree weather I was drinking water like crazy. Then I started feeling weak and my head started to hurt. I thought it was just a headache, but by one pm when we got back on the bus I started feeling worse. When we got back to the school I felt like I was going to throw up so I called my husband to come pick me up from the school. From there we went to pick up our son from my Granny's house and she informed that with the way I felt and acting and eyes were acting that I had heat stroke. She told me I needed to put salt and electro lights back in my body because the sun sucked all mine out. So she gave me green tea to drink and told me to rest and eat salty foods. She also said "now listen to me...don't let this go in one ear and out the other" I said yes ma'am. Then she gave me a kiss and my husband drove us home. Thank goodness for having an air conditioner to help make me feel better as well too. I laid on the couch when I got home and fell asleep. Then I took the kids back to the pool later this evening and wore a hat and sunglasses and then we came back home after a little bit of kids swimming. I laid down and fell asleep. Hubby woke me up for dinner and now it is time to fall back asleep. I am thankful for having an amazing husband and grandmother who take great care of me.
