First Dates Ideas

So now that you asked your person out you might need some dating ideas...so I dug up some great and fun ideas you and your partner can do. Hope you all can pick a few to try out.

Picnic's: You can take anywhere because the food is all packed up all nice and gives you that time to talk and get to know one another.

Want to try something new? Try a cooking class together. It is tons of fun and you work together to create something yummy.

Wine Tasting: Wanna loosen up a little? Wine tasting is great. You can try new flavors and chat about what your thoughts are about the wines you are tasting.

3 Course Dinner...This one can be tricky, but fun. Try going to different restaurants for different courses can be exciting don't overthink it or you will stress yourself out. Relax and have fun with it.

Fair: If the fair or carnival are in town go hit one of those up, but be prepared to spend money there. lol. It is a great way to spend the day with your partner and their children if they have any.

Outdoor Movies: Movies in the park in the summer are cheap and relaxing to enjoy. Just make sure to pack a blanket or chairs and some snacks.

Escape rooms: Would your partner be any good at these? How do they act when trying to escape? Do they freak out, get mad, scared...or is it all just fun? I personally haven't tried this one yet.

Sunsets: Go somewhere or just sit outside and watch the sun fall as the stars come up to light the night sky. This date is free you can't go wrong with free...

Zoo: Walk around the zoo together and enjoy talking about why you like or dislike each animal. You'll learn a lot real fast.

Karaoke: Find a place that has karaoke and pick out a song for each of you and then pick one for each other. See who has more fun with the song.

Bowling: Fun activity and you get to wear funny looking shoes and chat and enjoy one another

Dancing: Clubs can be fun as long as everything stays sain lol. You can turn music on and dance to it in a park, a rainy day...or or or you could try a dance class. Most do dance classes when they are getting things ready for the wedding.

Truth or Dare: Is it really just a kid game? Nope! Not at all. Adults can have lots of fun with truth and dare. It is a great way to get to know one another too cause you'll get to ask questions. Can you live on the edge and do the dares? Well that is something you'll have to figure out on your own.

Museums: Any of them are nice to go to. I love going to the Art Museum and the Oregon Museum of Science Industry are my favorites to go to.

Painting Class: Something new and adventurous to try. Every time they hold one it is a new picture the class has to try to paint.

Roller skating or ice skating: Both can br tricky, but end with fun

Snowman building: Do you have any snow? You could both build snowmen.

Camping: Always fun. Gets you away from everything to relax with your partner. Cold night equal more cuddles.

Time capsule: Build a time capsule and open it on your wedding night

Fishing: Who doesn't love fishing?! Grab your fishing gear and go somewhere private and go fishing. Only yucky part gutting and cleaning the fish.

Hiking: find a new trail to try together

Pingpong: A very tough game for some. (me being one of them) You can do normal ping-pong or beer...whatever the heart likes
Just remember to have fun and make sure you eat a little so you don't get sick if your using beer or liquor.

Puzzles: Working on a puzzle is frustrating already. It is not calming at all, but it can be fun to do with each other.

Games: Yeah i know I got the nerds attention now...lol. Who doesn't love games right?! You got lots of games to choose from. Computer games, Pc game, board games, card games, dice games, Pass the Pigs...lots of different ways to go with that one.

Talk: Talk about the future. Goals, things you wanna do, places you want to see.

Drive: Yup all you gotta do is gas up and go. Don't always have to have a stopping spot, but you never know what you'll see out there in the world. Day trips are a blast!

Tea or Coffee: go get a cup pick a little private table and chat it up.

Groupon: Yep this app has places you can get tickets for crazy cheap and can take you all over.

Fall: Once fall starts coming around the temp always drops. Well now you can make a cup of Hot Chocolate

Cake: Make a cake together and decorate it together

Laugh: It is okay to laugh with one another. It actually bring you closer if you can laugh together.

Re-Do a Room: Maybe one of you is board with one of the room in your guys palce. Re-do it. Start with painting the room together and design it together.

Farmers Market: They aren't open year round. When they are open though they have different music playing, food carts, stuff for even children to enjoy.

Concerts: Find a free concert even if it is a group you haven't heard of and dance the night away. Could of course have a few drinks to loosen up but it is a lot of fun.

Your dates can go as far as you can imagine them and enjoy each other's time together in the end. You don't have to do the who bow-chicka-bow-wow on your first date on on any dates either. It shouldn't even been in your mind. Unless you're married or have been with your partner for many many years.
