The promise ring

Now this ring is a big deal if you have a simple kind of woman. Or a woman who has been broken before. If you give a woman a promise ring you are promising to one day marry her. You are promising her that you will always be there for her and to protect her. If you can't do that then you need to step down and let someone else step up. Woman these days can provide for themselves. So think what can you add to the table? What can you do to make her more happy in life? I'm not talking money either. She already has that. Have you figured her out? Woman need a friend, someone they can always count on to be in their corner, to support them in their choices, actually listen to them when they talk to you, she needs someone who she can be herself around and you should be able to be yourself too. Surprise her even if it's just a simple text. She needs to feel valued, wanted, needed. If you make her a top 2 priority she will respect you and be happy to be with you. If she has children and you want to be with her then make sure her kids like you and make sure if you have kids that they like her too. If they don't get along it won't work. If you can't do any of this you probably aren't ready to even think about marriage. So don't make a promise you can't keep and don't give her a ring. If you can do all that though and you can see yourselves together forever then give that person a promise ring. 

A promise ring doesn't have to be flashy. If it does then she's most likely a good digger. 

So think what can you bring to the table

When my Husband gave me my promise ring he got down on one knee and promised to love me everyday and to always be there for me. The following day he had to head back to base. He had bought me a heart shape cut diamond. It originally was going to be a birthday gift, but we both knew we were going to be together forever. I knew what I felt for him was love and he was definitely falling in love with me. Letting him go back to base wasn't hard because I knew he would be back when he could be and he was. Long distance works if you both really want to work out.
