Communication in a Relationship...
Now in a relationship...ANY relationship. It could even be a friendship!!! No matter what you two need to listen to one another with an open mind. Ask about each others day. Ask them what all they did today. When you can communicate you build a foundation. When you don't communicate things will start to crumble. When that happens things go sour in the relationship. If that happens and you want to stay with the one you are with you then you need to rebuild your foundation and start dating again and spending time together to talk and get to know stuff about each other. Give each other yout time. Don't fight and argue or yell. It is NEVER worth the time. If you never communicate not only does your relationship start to fall apart, but it makes them feel like they are on the back burner.
Nobody likes being put on the back burner. It makes the person feel like they aren't important. Like they no longer matter. Asking about their day, what they did, ask if anything exciting happened. Maybe you have been wanting something for the house and your spouse went out and found something that works...It shows he listened. Sometimes we feel like others don't listen, but if you want good communication you need to be opened minded and truly listening. If you are listening you can respond and that means you guys are communicating.
Say you aren't happy with your partner...do you vent to someone else before communicating to your spouse??? Do you let your partner know how you really feel??? If not then that is who you should be going to and that's a change you need to start making. Your partner should always be the first one you talk to. Once you do that it is always best to turn to the person you trust most, but not before.
I can't stress enough that communication truly is important to stabilizing your relationship. The more communication the more honesty and the healthier the relationship.
