The Difference between a GIRL and a WOMAN

So, you want to know the difference between a GIRL and a WOMAN? Well let me just say this. Maturity has everything to do with this topic. Age is not a factor here, and rarely ever is. Maturity has absolutely everything to do with what makes you a woman and no longer a girl. We will start with GIRLS.. I realize that it is an all-encompassing term, and yes a WOMAN can still be a GIRL, especially at heart because let's face it, growing up sucks. But this is where the differential really takes shape, age has absolutely nothing to do with maturity. I know plenty of amazing young women at the age of 20, that have their head fastened so securely to their shoulders that you would think by talking to them and listening to their ideas, they were well into their 40's. These GIRLS are the ones who date casually, are not looking for any sort of commitment as to "keep their options open" , typically frequent bars on weekdays, especially knowing they have work or school the next morning, with no care or regard to responsibilities that await them in just a few hours. They are liars, it's not that they necessarily lie to people for their own personal gain, they are lying to themselves as well. They often live by the philosophy that "I'm still young" and "you only live once". But at what point does a sense of adventure and whimsy become a lack of maturity? As soon as it dives into your ability to carry on and maintain a healthy and productive adult relationship. Flirting is natural, it is something we all do in our own way, from hinting around that you might want a little extra sauce on your hamburger to the waitress, up and to the point where you find yourself sitting sideways on a Barstool paying attention to the person next to you, it is something that occurs naturally, oftentimes playfully and with no further intent. GIRLS use this as just one of the weapons in their Arsenal, they use seductive words and body language to get their way, they dress provocatively before going out, knowing quite well that they do not have money on their person because they know that if they show off just enough skin and use the proper combination of words, a guy will go out of his way to make sure she is accommodated throughout the evening. These GIRLS will often times address a man in a manner in which makes him wholeheartedly believe there is potential for advancement and a relationship in the near future, and this is where the fun begins. While she may be there with him physically, she will never truly be there for him mentally or emotionally, this is the type of female that plays games with a man's emotions, she leads him to believe that she wants to build a life with him, she will have him sell off everything he owns and get a place for them as a couple, knowing all along that she is still seeking other options. You see while her physical presence may be enough for some, a real man will never settle for that. GIRLS often feel as though Everything That Glitters Is gold which could not be farther from the truth, without a mental and emotional connection, how can you ever build upon something that is to last a lifetime? To put it simply you cannot. Physically being there with somebody or even for them in some cases, is not the same as being there for them emotionally and let's face it, who amongst us has not seen somebody that was absolutely breathtaking and realized they were as dumb as a box of rocks. If a woman cannot stimulate your mind, how will you ever find a deeper emotional connection with her? The ultimate goal for any MAN is to find a suitable mate and live a long happy life with her, in order to do that you must know your partner on a deeper level and this is where the emotional connection comes in. So at the end of the day a real man wants a real WOMAN and not a GIRL.

GIRLS are incapable of having a meaningful and lasting emotional connection with a man, this is where the WOMAN differentiates from the GIRL. A real man wants someone who is going to stick by their side, be loyal, be willing to compromise, and above all be willing to communicate. A WOMAN does not run from a situation. When the going gets tough, a WOMAN will show their true self, they expose the warrior within and they do not run, they stand tall, tighten their bootstraps, and prepare for war. What just happened there? Did one simple sentence sum up how a WOMAN can be there for her man, physically, mentally and emotionally.... You had better bet on it.

A real WOMAN craves an emotional attachment with her partner, a WOMAN knows that in order to have a strong emotional connection she needs to be able to connect with, and stimulate her man on an intellectual (mental) level, a WOMAN knows that without a mental and emotional connection being with him physically, means absolutely nothing. Need an example of what I mean? Making love. The single most beautiful thing two people can never share, some people do it because they have an overwhelming sense of love for one another, some do it to procreate, but one thing that is absolutely undeniable is it is 100%, pure and amazingly beautiful. Can you possibly imagine a scenario where you can share such an amazing thing with your partner, without a physical, emotional and mental connection. While making love in itself is in fact, a physical connection, it takes raw emotion and plenty of thought in order to create such a beautiful thing. A real WOMAN knows that without one of these building blocks, the others shall surely fall by the wayside, crippling the entire foundation for what is to be. So be a real WOMAN and be there for your man the way he needs you to be.
